Bryan Scott is a Level 1 Instructor at CrossFit Fayette. “I have been involved with sports throughout my life, baseball, football, soccer, motocross, but none of these have tested me like CrossFit. It is my goal to bring all participants, regardless of their background, to their optimal level of fitness. We need to be ready for anything life has to offer; CrossFit does that.” Bryan lives an active lifestyle and believes that proper nutrition and fitness are the core foundation to a successful life.
Patrick James is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 and Power Lifting Trainer. “I have enjoyed competitive athletics from a young age through my college days at Georgia Tech. CrossFit has been changing my life since 2010. As a CrossFitter, I enjoy the constantly varied WOD’s and I count working out with fellow Trainer and son Michael a true blessing. When teaching a CrossFit class: I strive to encourage athletes do what they need to do, for them to leave feeling better about themselves, and to see them attain their fitness goals”.
Ryan Peterson is a Level I Certified Crossfit Coach. In high school he was a soccer player. Later on at a young age he joined the US Army, and has always been involved with running, going to the gym and conducting Army PT programs from the Section level (8-12 people), to the Platoon level (40-60 people) to over-seeing programs for entire units.
Ryan was introduced to Coach Bryan Scott in February of 2014 and signed up for the essentials class. After that he never looked back, making Crossfit his number one outlet for physical fitness. “I love the challenge. I love pushing myself physically and mentally into the unknown. I have never worked this hard in my entire life and have never seen greater results”. After a year of Crossfit he took the Level I Trainer’s course and became a coach. “I wanted to share my knowledge and love of this sport and help people get the results I have.” Ryan is married to his wife Brandy, has 3 daughters and one on the way.
Holley is a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer and an NASM Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist. She started in gymnastics at a very young age, and added weight lifting and track in her early teens. After being a “gym rat” for her entire adult life, she was introduced to CrossFit in 2010. After her first hero WOD, she was hooked. She loves the variety of movements Crossfit offers people, building a comprehensive athlete. Holley’s enthusiasm for Crossfit continues to grow, particularly inspiring beginners to exercise while ensuring their safety and pushing them to reach new achievable goals. She also has a passion for science driven nutrition and the way that food can fuel the body for both health and performance.
I grew up playing sports and being active. I have been a Health/Physical Education teacher for the last 16 years. I worked out in a traditional gym but never really saw any great results. I was lacking motivation and drive in my workouts. I started CrossFit in 2013 and haven’t looked back since. CrossFit Fayette provides a great atmosphere and motivation to see results. I like the challenges and comradery CrossFit provides.
I am a Level 1 Certified Crossfit Coach, a wife, mother, grandmother and retired from Delta Air Lines (November 2008). I started working out at Crossfit Fayette in January 2013 because my son urged me to give it a try. I was exercising at home but wasn’t being consistent and not seeing any type of results. Crossfit changed all that! My fitness level has improved substantially both physically and mentally and I have been able to see continuous improvement. The bonus is the camaraderie we have working out together. The main class that I coach is FitCamp which meets the needs of members who prefer an “easier” Crossfit experience. I am always striving to learn and improve my coaching skills and my goal is to help and encourage others to achieve their physical potential.
I am softball playing, brain balancing, cross-fitter. I grew up playing softball and was blessed with an opportunity to play all four years at the collegiate level. Being an athlete I was always in a weight room or doing some type of agility workouts. After college ended, I had zero interest in going back to a regular gym and just wanted to find something I could join that made me feel like I was apart of a team/family again. I found just that with Crossfit. I love the community aspect of Crossfit. We all push each other to reach our fitness goals and as a coach, it is awesome to watch people improve their performance and intensity levels. When I am not at the gym or the ball field, I am at work (Brain Balance) helping children reach their full potential in all aspects of life. I help families with nutritional goals as well as exercises to increase function ability.
Married to Terri Ferguson for 22 years. I have been involved in sports my whole life, but as I got older realized I started slowing down and needed to do something about it. I started Crossfit Jan of 2012 and never looked back. Went from 210 pounds at the age of 40 to a solid 185 pounds 6 years later
. Now that I have been doing Crossfit I have been able to get back into sports without slowing down. After turning my health/fitness around I decided to get my Level 1 Cert in May 2017 and started coaching to give other athletes the same experience and results I got. Once you start you just can’t get away from the COMMUNITY that Crossfit brings.
